Precision ag
MFA's Precision Advantage program provides the services and information you need no matter what your current adoption level. It's goal is to help you increase profit, production and stewardship on your farm.
MFA employees trained in agronomy, soil science, field crop advising, weed science and entomology are heavily involved in the program. MFA's agronomy staff has adopted a consistent set of standards for data collection and interpretation of customer data. Our expert staff will analyze your collected data and make the best possible recommendations for your fields and pastures.
To accurately analyze customer data, MFA formed Agricultural Systems Information Lab (ASIL). ASIL is a state-of-the-art, centralized Geographical Information System (GIS). GIS hardware and software incorporates information collected from global positioning systems, yield monitors and crop records such as tillage practice, seed variety and planting date. Yield analysis of fields with this information are processed so that correlations between yield and yield-determining factors can be identified.
MFA Precision Advantage enables farmers to get the most out of their precision farming efforts and make sound agronomic decisions.
