Closing dates

The closing date for reserving ad space in a monthly issue is the 15th of the month two months preceding issue (i.e. Jan. 15 for the March issue). For combined issues, the closing date is the first day of the month preceding the issue (i.e. May 1 for the June/July issue).

Cancellations and late payments

Cancellations not accepted after closing dates. Cancellation must be in writing. Any insertion not paid within 30 days of billing date will be charged a finance charge of 1.46 percent per month. The finance charge, equal to an annual percentage rate of the invoice amount, will be added if payment is not received by the due date. Invoices not paid within 90 days will forfeit agency commission.

Agency commission

A 15 percent commission is given to recognized agencies supplying camera-ready material. No cash discounts.

Contract specifications

Advertising orders and copy are subject to publisher's approval. Advertiser and agency agree to indemnify publisher from expense that may occur based upon contents and subject matter of the advertisement. Publisher reserves the right to investigate product or service concerned. No advertisement of alcoholic beverages or self-treatment products will be accepted.

General policy

Production work entails loss of agency commission, plus additional production costs.
