District Meeting Election Nominees: District 5

Ron Heins farms 900 acres of row crops along with raising 140 cow/calf pairs and 1,400 hogs. He's a director of the public water supply district and recently completed a term as president of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. His interests include spending time with family and church-related activities. Heins said he believes it is important to be involved in the co-op that has contributed considerably to his farming operation.

Tim Lichte row crops 1,200 acres and operates a 1,200-hog swine enterprise. He serves on the local MFA advisory board, local MFA Oil advisory board, a vo-tech advisory board and Lafayette County's Board of Zoning and Adjustment. In his spare time, he follows his children's school activities and MU basketball. Lichte said MFA has been a part of making his operation successful through providing leadership and business training.
